About the Workshop

Yes, improvisers need to accept offers but NO, characters do not have to agree with each other or want the same thing! In this workshop we’ll learn the true nature of dramatic conflict, what it is and how it’s different than blocking and arguing. We’ll learn how to deepen character, intensify the relationship, and raise the dramatic stakes by discovering true dramatic conflict. We’ll focus on your character’s emotional need, the obstacles presented by your partner, and the tactics you play to overcome them._______________________________
